Tall Trees Summer Camp
July 6 through August 12, 2010
9 am - 2 pm, Tuesdays through Thursdays

Six weeks of natural exploration and growth through the arts, natural science, and creative play. Children ages 5 to 10 will experience the summer season through: Summer games and activities, watercolor painting, puppetry, story telling, singing and dancing, and earthcrafts. They will also enjoy local walks and day trips through the Saranac Lake neighborhood to experience nature and history.
Cost per week is $135.00 (aftercare available for a separate, hourly fee.)

Throughout the year families, friends and community members join hands to create beautiful seasonal crafts. Artisans lead participants in a wide variety of projects. In the past these have included basket weaving, felting holiday treasures, hand dipping candles, creating healing salve and sweet dream pillows and pulling sheets of our own homemade paper.

Natural materials and simple beauty are always the focus. Join us for one of our Art Days – all are welcome!

These workshops are made possible, in part, with a Developing Community Arts Grant with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program administered locally by the Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks.
